Spreadsheets & charts
The Spreadsheet is a real spreadsheet; Charts turn data into graphics.
Formulas
A cell starting with = is a formula. You get arithmetic, comparisons, $-anchored A1 references and ranges, and a large function library (SUM, AVERAGE, IF, COUNT, ROUND, MOD, CONCAT, LEFT/MID/RIGHT, UPPER/LOWER/TRIM, and more). While typing a formula, click a cell or drag a range to insert its reference. Format cells, sort by a column, and import/export CSV or TSV.
Round-trip with the Codex
Build a table from a Codex category: each entity becomes a row and each field a column, with Reference columns showing entity names. Edit in the grid and push the changes back to the codex.
Charts
Create a bar, line, area, or pie chart, fill a categories-by-series grid, and embed it in prose with ![[Chart Title]]. The drawn chart renders inline and in the exported website.
