Document Info

The Document Info inspector holds a document's editorial metadata — the facts about the document, separate from its prose.

What it shows

For the selected document: its title, synopsis, status, point of view, a word-count target, and its list of cited Sources. Screenplay documents also show revision settings.

Using it

• Edit any field; changes are undoable and are saved with the project.
• The point-of-view value feeds POV Balance analytics; the word-count target feeds Goals.
• Fields commit when they lose focus, and are flushed on Save — so a Ctrl+S while a field is focused keeps your edit.
