Languages
The Languages dock is a full constructed-language (conlang) workshop — build an invented language from its sounds up.
What it shows
Every language in the project. Creating or editing one opens a designer with tabs for Phonology, Phonotactics, Lexicon, Grammar, Pronouns & Numbers, Sound Changes, Orthography, a Conscript (writing system) with a live preview, a two-way Translator, and an exportable Reference Grammar.
Using it
- Define an inventory and phonotactics, then generate words into the lexicon — or generate vocabulary for a semantic field (or the Swadesh core list) and search the dictionary.
- Define inflection paradigms, pronouns, a numeral system, and word order; translate text with an interlinear (Leipzig) gloss.
- Design a script's glyphs and preview a word drawn in it.
- Right-click a language to Derive Daughter Language — evolve a new tongue through a set of sound changes, with cognate links back to the parent.
Every capability is also reachable over the MCP API.
